Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 19 May 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ReGo website, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated in connection with rego.lk.
By creating an account, posting a listing, messaging other users, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under applicable law in Sri Lanka.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with local laws and regulations.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable law, or that pose risk to other users or the Platform.
4. Listings and content
You are solely responsible for listings you post, including descriptions, photos, prices, and communications with buyers or sellers.
Listings must be truthful, lawful, and in the correct category. Prohibited items include (without limitation): illegal goods, weapons, drugs, stolen property, counterfeit products, and content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
We may review, reject, edit, remove, or decline to publish listings at our discretion. Approval or publication does not mean we endorse any listing or seller.
5. Transactions between users
ReGo is a marketplace that helps buyers and sellers connect. Unless we explicitly state otherwise, we are not a party to transactions between users and do not take title to items sold.
You agree to deal honestly with other users, meet safely where applicable, and resolve disputes directly with the other party. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any item or service.
6. Paid features
Optional paid features (such as PRO subscriptions, listing boosts, or similar) may be offered from time to time. Fees, billing periods, and benefits will be shown at checkout or in your account.
Payments may be processed through third-party providers or manual verification as described on the Platform. Refunds are handled according to the policy displayed at the time of purchase, except where required by law.
7. Messaging and conduct
You must not harass, threaten, spam, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Platform. Automated access without permission is prohibited.
We may monitor or review communications where permitted by law to enforce these Terms and protect users.
8. Intellectual property
ReGo branding, software, and design elements are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the Platform for personal or business use in accordance with these Terms.
By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and promote that content on the Platform in connection with operating the service.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or interactions with other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) LKR 5,000, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access with or without notice where required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Sri Lanka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
